THE WATCH
A VINTAGE AMERICAN MOVEMENT.
A NEW AVIGO.
Each watch begins with an authentic vintage Elgin Grade 314, 12-size mechanical movement.
The movement is individually sourced, professionally serviced and installed into a newly produced 42mm wristwatch case, paired with a custom AVIGO dial and Jubilee bracelet.
Because these movements have survived from another era, every watch carries its own original Elgin serial number and its own history.
Production dates, serial numbers, markings and certain movement details will vary from watch to watch.

THE MOVEMENT
ELGIN GRADE 314
At the heart of this watch is not a reproduction movement, but an authentic American-made Elgin mechanical movement from another era.
Elgin was one of the defining names of American watchmaking, producing millions of watches in Elgin, Illinois.
AVIGO’s own story emerged during this extraordinary period of American watchmaking and aviation.
For this project, surviving Elgin Grade 314 movements are restored to service and given another chapter—this time on the wrist.

The Elgin Grade 314 movements used in these watches were manufactured many decades ago.
Each retains its original Elgin serial number and its own individual history.
Production dates, markings, finishing and normal evidence of age may vary between movements.
